Established in 1911, Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank which was wholly owned and managed by Indians. The establishment of the Bank was the ultimate realisation of the dream of Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala, founder of the Bank. Sir Pherozesha Mehta was the first Chairman of a truly ‘Swadeshi Bank’. In fact, such was the extent of pride felt by Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala that he proclaimed Central Bank of India as the ‘property of the nation and the country’s asset’.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Scale-I, 35 years for Scale-II, III and 45 years for Scale-IV as on 31-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a written examination followed by a personal interview.

Scale of Pay: Rs.1,02,300 – 1,20,940 for Chief Manager posts
Rs. 85,920 – 1,05,280 for Senior Manager posts
Rs. 64,820 – 93,960 for Manager posts

Application Fee: Rs. 175/ for SC/ ST/ PWBD and Women candidates.
Rs. 850/- for all other candidates.
